I love Tillamook Cheese!

Loaf Love Story
I have always loved cheddar cheese. When I was in high school I would travel home to a friend's house for lunch most days. Her parents always stocked the fridge with deliciously rich Tillamook cheddar cheese, on which I began to feast with during each visit, always with a crisp Dr. Pepper. Yum.
Well, since I was being a mooch, I just had to convince my own parental unit to keep the fridge occupied with that same beautiful golden brick. They were reluctant however, being severe penny pinchers. Luckily At the time I was old enough to work and I began buying my own groceries, always including a brick of Tillamook cheddar.
My favorite use for it has been for fancy club sandwiches and fried cheese, Mexican dishes and grilled ham, turkey and cheese sandwiches; and more simply to accompany a snack of grapes or tomatoes.
I have tried other types of Tillamook cheeses: white cheddar, pepper jack, colby jack...but to me, these are all on the surface of the cheese world. My intent now is to dig deeper and discover the broader world of cheeses, hoping to taste all the flavors available and pursue new recipes.
