Tillamook Farmers - No Artificial Growth Hormones
Tillamook County Creamery Association farmers pride themselves on quality milk that comes from healthy cows. They're also proud of their collective decision to ban the use of artificial growth hormones. Currently, all of the milk and cream used in the production of Tillamook dairy products (cheese, butter, ice cream, yogurt, and sour cream) comes from cows not supplemented with artificial growth hormones*.
*The FDA has stated that no significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rBST treated and non-rBST treated cows.
