Louise Grabner May 2010 Personality of the Month

As part of her work for Tillamook Cheese, Louise Grabner uses a harp every day. But no, she's not Tillamook’s musician-in residence—she’s part of the packaging team, and uses a tool called a harp to cut 40-pound blocks of cheese into two-pound baby loafs. Her harp uses the same kind of wire used in pianos to carve the large blocks of cheese into precisely the right shape and weight.

 Louise is also something of a company celebrity, through her starring role as “Tillie,” one of Tillamook’s mascots. For almost three years, she has represented Tillamook at parades, employee appreciation events, and special events at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
